ACCA P5 Paper - Advanced Performance Management - is concerned with
F2 and is concerned with
managing the business to achieve better performance. The majority of the
topics were first introduced in Papers
F2 and
F5, but they are now examined in greater depth. This does not imply that any

Structure of the ACCA P5 paper
Part A consists of One compulsory question 50 marks.
Part B consist of Two from three questions each of 25 marks
Emphasis of the P5 exam
You'll discover that you've already covered the majority of the technical
content in this exam in either F2 or F5. However, the questions,
particularly in Part A, provide far more information than an F5 question
would. Frequently, you will be asked to create or critique performance
measures, assess performance, and criticize and improve the presentation of
information. Instead of thinking of yourself as an accounts assistant, think
of yourself as a chief accountant or finance director, as suggested in the
first paragraph.

When you feel comfortable with a topic, go over as many past exam
questions as you can. Because the calculations are considered simple, you
